Semi-Experienced

is for a candidate that has a minimum of 15 hours experience operating on the leavers over the last 6 months. If this can't be proved then you are considered a novice. A course for a semi-experienced operator is normally 1 Day in length.  With no formal  training  but  ability to operate the leavers "  you need to appreciate and understand safe working practices with regard to the operation of the loader. Any employer also has to be sure of the skill of the employee and then give formal permission, as suggested by the HSE. This course covers all aspects of safety and the instructors try to give a real flavor of working in industry. This course comes with the ALLMI  accreditation. Novice

With no skill the Novice needs to have time to both absorb the theory and then acquire safe  handling ability of the operating leavers. This course allows time to gain confidence in operating ability and use new found skills. Also to appreciate the Health and Safety side of lorry loader operation. This course also covers all aspects of safety, and the instructors will  try to give a real flavor of working in industry. As always give us a ring if you have a query and ask for Big "H"
